Winter Cotswolds tour for the most hardy!

7th December 2017 | Categories: Bikes, Cotswolds, Cycling, e-bike holiday

Kathy, Steve and Cory from Boston were determined to make the most of their short vacation to England and, having sampled the bright lights of London wanted explore the Cotswold countryside by e-bike in November. Having had a cold snap, the weather was unusually cold for early winter, but clear and sunny. Setting off after the frost had melted we enjoyed piping hot coffees in Stow on the Wold and a delicious lunch at the Slaughter’s Country Inn to fuel our expedition. Everyone enjoyed the e-bikes, especially Steve who who competes in “Iron Man” competitions – zooming up the hills at super-human speed with breaking sweat is a great feeling, even for the super fit! With friends who love cycling for pleasure as well as competitively, everyone agreed that the Cotswolds is the perfect place to enjoy beautiful rural scenery, historic towns and villages and quiet country lanes which are a joy to explore on a bike.Private e-bike tour on vacation in the Cotswolds
