Some clouds have a multi-coloured lining

13th March 2017 | Categories: Bikes, Cotswolds, Cycling, General

When Joe arranged his family’s tour weeks in advance he had to take a gamble on the weather – early March can be unsettled as storm Doris proved the week before they arrived. But he chose well – everyone enjoyed their luxury cottage, www.kinghamcottages.com, and their gourmet meal at The Wild Rabbit, www.thewildrabbit.co.uk. Even the weather behaved itself (most of the time). The morning dawned bright and everyone loved breezing up the hills and quiet winding though quiet villages in glorious sunshine en route to Broadwell where we savoured some traditional pub food and tried a little local beer at The Fox, www.foxbroadwell.co.uk. Clouds gathered on the return to Kingham and then the rain came as we reached Oddington. The rain jackets I provide kept everyone dry and the short sharp shower soon stopped, treating us to a spectacular rainbow as the sun reappeared  – there’s are always things you’ll remember forever on a Cotswold Electric Bike Tour.
