A Birthday Gift shows you can enjoy an e-bike tour – even in January!

Mark, from Bristol, discovered the perfect gift for his wife, Jane, for her birthday – an e-bike tour from Northleach to Burford and back. Despite a less than perfect forecast, plucky Jane was determined to complete her tour on her birthday in January. Fortunately, the weather chose to ignore the forecast and the rain held off for the whole day. We ate a hearty lunch at the famous Swan at Swinbrook (a location in Downtown Abbey and more recently for Bridget Jones’s Baby) and enjoyed excellent service, even though it was remarkably busy for a Monday!

Later in the year, Mark and Jane are hoping to return to enjoy another e-bike tour. They shouldn’t need two layers and a coat in summer, but they did prove that you can enjoy an e-bike tour on our lovely quiet roads and beautiful countryside, even if the sun doesn’t shine.
