and Debbie were surprised how the bikes made light of even the steepest hills. They were also amazed at the variety of scenery included in their carefully planned tour which encompassed sweeping views over the Vale of Evesham, fields of lavender in full bloom and beautifully preserved towns and villages all hewn in mellow Cotswold stone. Chipping Campden was stunning in the July sunshine and we lingered longer than we’d planned, but who cares? It was a delight to be out on such a glorious day in such good company and the most important thing on any tour is making time to enjoy it to the full!
