We’re offering two brewery experiences exclusively through TXGB – Visit England’s new tourism platform – which will go live this summer. A link to the booking site will be posted soon!
For a truly authentic Cotswold experience, you won’t get better than a visit to the privately owned Donnington Brewery. Established in 1865 by Richard Arkell, the brewery was added to an ancient water mill dating from the thirteenth century. Still operated by the Arkell family, the traditions of brewing ale have been handed down through the generations.
For lager lovers, nothing quite compares with the passion for their business of Master Brewer, Richard Keene, and his wife Emma. Founded in 2005, Cotswold Brew Co’s enthusiastic team now brew a range premium quality, full flavour lagers providing unique alternatives to the big brands that have swamped the market.
We have arranged ten tour dates for each brewery throughout the summer, bookable exclusively via TXGB. Private tours can also available – just email email@example.com
The experience days include a round e-bike trip of about 26 miles, brewery tours, tastings, lunch and souvenir packs at the end of the tour. If you know someone special who deserves a truly memorable day out, this could be the perfect gift for them!
