Established in 1865 by Richard Arkell, Donnington brewery was added to a thirteenth century water mill – the water wheel continues to power the brewery today. Still operated by the Arkell family, the traditions of brewing traditional ale have been handed down through the generations.
The Cotswold Brewery has established a reputation as one of the U.K’s pre-eminent craft brewers specialising in organic, Bavarian styled lagers. Situated near Lower Slaughter, one of the Cotswold’s most iconic villages, discover why this micro-brewery has such a large following.
Both tours start from Kingham and include e-biking through beautiful Cotswold countryside to reach the brewery you have selected for your experience. You will then enjoy guided tours of ale or lager brewing, followed by delicious lunch with beer tasting. In the afternoon the e-bike tour returns to Kingham via other charming Cotswold villages to complete you perfect day out.
